Tuesday, the elections will end.

Pending a tie, which in itself would be amazing, the election results from all Schoharie County races should be known on Tuesday. The Young Republicans will be watching in earnest, as we our hoping Republican candidates John Barlow, Linda Angell, and Bill Slater can pull of some absentee induced victories.

It has been a good long hard fight.

The Young Republicans are not done though! As we prepare for a crucial bunch of meetings which will take place over the next few months, our 2010 elections, a mailer attempting to gain more members, perhaps involvement in village elections in March, and the 2010 elections which will include a full out effort against Paul Tonko, given a Republican challenger emerges.

Join the fight on November 20th, 6PM at the Middleburgh Town Hall.

Happy Veterans Day & Young Republicans update.

Dear Young Republicans,
I would on behalf of the Young Republicans, like to wish all members, and those who receive this email...a Happy Veterans day. With one member of the Young Republicans training in Texas (Fort Sam Houston) this touches homebase for us.
God Bless America and God Bless our Veterans.
Young Republicans update
The Schoharie County Young Republicans are just as nervous as the rest of the County in regards to local elections that are too close to call. The Young Republicans will have full results at our next meeting, so we can discuss the elections of last week, and how we can use these elections to help us in future elections.
The Schoharie County Young Republicans are planning our mailer, though we hope to have the voting rolls in time for our December meeting. We are also planning to write Chairman Lewis Wilson a letter, in regards to finally attaining authorization for the Young Republicans club.
We have much to discuss at our next meeting, business is full for the meeting, we do not have a guest speaker as of now, which might be a good thing in regards to the agenda I have put together. The meeting is on November 20th, next Friday, 6PM at the Middleburgh Town Hall.
- Tim Knight, Chairman of the Schoharie County Young Republicans.

Election day ends on November 17th.

My fellow Republicans,

On November 17th, absentee ballots from across Schoharie County will be counted, and numerous elections will be settled once and for all. Those races include Supervisor elections in Richmondville & Cobleskill, along with the Sheriff's election. The Richmondville election is too close to call, as the Democrat candidate has a 2 vote lead over Supervisor John Barlow, and the Republican trails in Cobleskill by 9 votes.

While we have maintained control of the Schoharie County Board of Supervisors, especially with a fantastic pickup in the Town of Wright, I would like to see Republicans in control of 12 seats come January. Then in two years, when every Supervisor seat is up for election, we need to have a Republican candidate in all 16 towns.

We are the party of Schoharie County, it is about time we are acting like it.
